Kokomo put the game away with four in the fifth, three of which came on a home run by second baseman Brian Fuentes. The Jackrabbits also scored single runs in the eighth and ninth.

Hannibal was unable to take advantage of scoring opportunities, stranding 13 runners on base.

The Hoots fall to 15-19, while the Jackrabbits improve to 18-14.

Kokomo is back at Clemens Field for a 3:05 p.m. matchup Sunday.
