The Hannibal Hoots bounced back from a loss Saturday night with a 10-5 win over the Kokomo Jackrabbits Sunday afternoon at Clemens Field.

The Hoots took the lead early, scoring twice in the first on a wild pitch and an RBI single by third baseman Joe Roscetti.

After Kokomo scored a run in the second, Hannibal answered with a home run off the bat of right fielder Stephen Haring, his third of the year.

It was 4-3 Hannibal when the Hoots broke it open in the seventh, when eleven men batted, nine reached base and six scored. The Jackrabbits scored two in the eighth, but were retired in the ninth to seal the 10-5 win.

Dylan Chisholm was the starter and winning pitcher for Hannibal.

The win improves the Hoots' record to 16-19, while Kokomo drops to 18-15.

Hannibal has the day off Monday, and take on the Gems in Quincy Tuesday at 6:35 p.m.,with the Gems at Clemens Field Wednesday.
