Hannibal High Hosts Another Successful United Way ‘Taste of Missouri’
There was a full house Thursday, October 8 for the United Way of the Mark Twain Area's annual "Taste of Missouri" fund raiser.
The Hannibal High School Cafeteria was the setting for a number of restaurants, nutrition centers and other food service entities to prepare their best dishes for the approval of the over 200 people who came to take in the evening.
The evening included entertainment a vocal group consisting of 20 4th and 5th graders from Mark Twain Elementary School.
Those who sampled the goodies were asked to vote for their favorites. The winners were:
Favorite Snack: Paddlewheel Popcorn
Favorite Appetizer: Fiddlestiks
Favorite Dessert: Lewis County Nutrition Center
Favorite Main Dish: Monroe City Nutrition Center
Best of Show: Monroe City Nutrition Center
