Hannibal Fire Under Investigation

A Monday night fire at 771 Head Lane is under investigation.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 7 pm. There is extensive damage to the duplex. Marion County Sheriff Jimmy Shinn says authorities are investigating a home invasion, assault and arson. Shinn says a woman was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.  A neighbor reports hearing a loud boom and seeing flames coming from a front window. The Missouri Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
