Four people are injured in a two vehicle crash at Highway 79 and the I-72 eastbound exit ramp in Hannibal at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Hannibal Police report that a car, driven by an 83 year old Shelbina man rear ended a pickup driven by a 64 year old man from Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

As a result, the car flipped onto its roof, and occupants of both vehicles had to be extricated by fire personnel.

Both drivers and passengers in both vehicles were taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation by Hannibal Police.
