At Clemens Field Friday, Kokomo sweeps the Hannibal Cavemen 7-0 in the first game and 5-1 in the nightcap.

In the first contest, the Jackrabbits scored two runs in the second, three more in the third and two in the fifth.

The Cavemen had their chances with runners in scoring position in the first and third. They had the bases loaded in the sixth, but came up empty in game one.

In the nightcap, Kokomo scored an unearned run in the first, picked up two in the second, one in the fourth and one in the sixth.

The Cavemen threatened late with a run in the sixth inning on a single by Romero Harris. They had the tying run at the plate with the bases loaded in the sixth, but Noah Lee struck out.

The Cavemen loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh but again failed to score.
