It was another frustrating night for the Hannibal Cavemen Sunday, as they lose to the Rex in Terre Haute 4-3 in 12 innings.

Hannibal scored twice in the first on a sacrifice fly by first baseman Romero Harris and a ground out by DH Ed Reichenbach.

The Rex tied the game in the fifth on a two-run double by center fielder Dalton Board.

The score stayed 2-2 until the tenth. Hannibal scored on an RBI single by Reichenbach. Terre Haute tied the game again when right fielder Danny Beaver drove in a run with a base hit.

The Rex won the game in the 12th when catcher James Hill III was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, allowing the winning run to score.

With the Prospect League All-Star coming Tuesday, the Cavemen are off until Friday, when they meet the Sliders for a doubleheader in Springfield.
