Hannibal BPW Issues Precautionary Boil Order

The Hannibal Board of Public Works issues a precautionary boil order for a portion of its service territory late Thursday morning.

In a press release, BPW issues the boil order until 11 a.m. Saturday for an area that extends from Leonard Avenue to Hamilton Street and from Frank Street to Ruby Avenue.

Officials say about 80 homes are affected by the order.
