Band Day is a always an event Hannibal residents look forward to each year. Marching bands from around the region gather in America's Hometown for a parade down Broadway, and then a field show at Porter Stadium.

Tuesday, October 13 is the date for Hannibal's Band Day in 2015. 29 high school and middle school bands are scheduled to perform during the parade, which will begin at 3 p.m. and last approximately two hours.

The field show at Porter Stadium starts at 6. Three schools will perform in parade formation and 16 schools will perform their field shows. Hannibal’s Pirate Pride Marching Band will conclude the field show with “Music From Wicked” at approximately 8:15.

Parking for the field show is available in the south lot of the high school by the auditorium and the northeast lot by the middle school gym. Field show admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students. Children 3 and under are free.

Walking tacos, chili cheese Fritos, hot dogs, candy, soda, hot chocolate and bottled water will be available at the Band Boosters concession stand beginning at 4:30. The People's Choice table will take donations in $1 amounts for Favorite Band.

Band Day is a longstanding tradition in Hannibal. Band Day 2015 will be the 67th year of the event.
