Every summer, on one night, the folks of Hannibal will all gather their favorite people together in yards, lawn chairs, truck beds, and even on rooftops to enjoy one of the biggest events of Tom Sawyer Days; the annual Fourth of July fireworks display.

In years past, the fireworks took place at the riverfront. Last year, the display was shot from the top of Lover's Leap and people may still be thinking of the best and clearest spots from which to see the show.

One very popular area is the Mark Twain Memorial Bridge Park near the Historic Downtown area. However, the park quickly becomes crowded and congested with all the on-lookers and baby strollers packed into it. Tanyard Gardens also becomes a hot spot for people looking to watch the fireworks. It too quickly becomes congested with families since the area reopens earlier in the evening for family night.

So, where are some of the best, least crowded spots for watching the Hannibal fireworks show this year? We want to hear from you! Let us know on Facebook or Twitter about some of the secret places you and your family may have found through the years of fireworks displays in Hannibal. Here's hoping we're all equally dazzled this year!
