An inmate in the Hancock County Jail faces additional charges for trying to hire someone to kill witnesses in his court case.

Hancock County Sheriff Scott Bentzinger reports 27 year old Christopher Brown of Revere, Missouri was arrested February 11th for aggravated sexual abuse.

State Police investigators conducted a court ordered, secretly recorded conversation with Brown in the jail.

Brown is alleged to have offered $15,000 to another inmate to kill a 20-year-old female and two juveniles who are part of his sexual abuse case.

Brown now faces three counts of solicitation of murder for hire.
His next court date is February 25th.
