Dozens of firefighters are being called to Clemens Field in Hannibal and police are expected to issue hundreds of tickets.

But don’t worry. There’s no emergency.

Saturday night, August 6, marks the fifth annual “Guns N’ Hoses” charity softball game featuring a team of Hannibal police officers squaring off against a team of Hannibal firefighters on the diamond at historic Clemens Field.

Mayor James Hark will arrive via helicopter (courtesy of Survival Flight) to throw out the first pitch at approximately 6:40 pm. Hannibal High School student Delaney Cooke will sing the National Anthem. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 pm and concessions will be available.

Tickets for the game are $6 and can be purchased at any area fire station, police station, or at the gate. Or you can purchase online at www.cavementix.com. And 100 percent of ticket sales benefits the Hannibal Fire Local 1211 and Hannibal Fraternal Order of Police.
