(BOWLING GREEN)--   One of three suspects arrested in the burglary of a Louisiana laundry mat has confessed.

17-year-old Andrew Joseph Lee Lewis pleaded guilty Wednesday to felony burglary and property damage. He was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay more than seven thousand dollars in restitution.   Money, soft drinks and snacks valued at up to 300 dollars were stolen from LA Laundry Mat along Highway 79 early on the morning of February 13th.

Police said they were led to the suspects with the help of surveillance video that the laundry owner had just installed a month before the break-in, and interviews with a business where the suspects paid for 22 dollars of food with eight one dollar bills and loose change.

A girlfriend of one of the suspects also told police that her roommate had thrown out some of the snacks and soda pop, which were recovered.    The other two men charged in the case are 21-year-olds Zachary Todd and Tyler Franklin, also of Hannibal. Todd is scheduled for an April 23rd arraignment. Franklin awaits a court hearing.
