Griggsville Fire Due to Arson

(Griggsville, Ill)—Two juveniles face arson charges after the Pike County, Illinois Sheriff’s Department questioned them in connection with a suspicious fire in Griggsville Thursday night. Griggsville and North Pike firefighters arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames. The vacant house had been scheduled for demolition, and all utilities were shut off. The house fell in minutes after firefighters’ arrival. No injuries were reported.
