A Quincy man is sentenced to eleven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections as the result of a plea deal in Adams County Circuit Court Thursday.

39 year old Dominic Greving entered what is known as an Alford Plea to one count of criminal sexual assault. Under an Alford Plea, Greving maintains his innocence, but concedes that there is enough evidence to prove him guilty.

Quincy Police started investigating Greving in September of 2016, and arrested him in November. Greving is alleged to have had inappropriate sexual contact with a 15 year old girl at least four times during a three year period.

Greving must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence, then will be subject to mandatory supervised release for anywhere from three years to the rest of his life.
