Great Rivers State

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - State Senator John Lamping from St. Louis County wants tourism officials and government agencies to start using the slogan "The Great Rivers State" in its marketing. He notes that Missouri has more than 110,000 miles of rivers and streams. The Show-Me State already uses "The Cave State" and "Where the Rivers Run" in its marketing.
