Gargus Convicted of Elder Abuse

(Kahoka) – A Clark County jury finds a rural Kahoka woman guilty of elder abuse.
61 year old Linda Gargus was convicted of neglecting her elderly mother, who died in March of 2010.
The jury handed down the verdict late Thursday. On Friday, the jury recommended a ten year prison term for Gargus. She could get up to 30 years in the Department of Corrections.
