A northern Missouri man remains at large after a police pursuit through two counties.

Thirty-four year-old Troy L. Franklin of Milan was spotted Tuesday in Adair County by a Missouri State Trooper who knew Franklin had an active parole warrant. The trooper attempted to stop the vehicle. Franklin fled the scene and led authorities into Sullivan County, where 2 passengers exited the vehicle and were last seen near Missouri Route D.

Franklin continued on in his vehicle. After the trooper fired shots at him, Franklin abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot into a wooded area on Route D.

Authorities say Franklin should be considered armed and dangerous. He is about 6 feet tall, 175 pounds, with short dark hair, last seen wearing blue jeans and no shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact their nearest law enforcement agency.
