Freezing Rain Advisory Issued for Area

The National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a freezing rain advisory... in effect from midnight tonight to noon Monday.

*Freezing rain will develop after midnight tonight and continue for much of Monday morning...transitioning to rain by noon Monday.

* Accumulations of around one tenth of an inch of ice expected.

* Temperatures will be in the 20s rising into the mid 30s by noon Monday, with winds southeast 5 to 15 mph gusting up to 20 mph.

Ice accumulations will create hazardous travel conditions especially on untreated surfaces.
