Fourth Case of Legionnaire’s Disease at Illinois Veterans Home

A fourth case of Legionnaire’s Disease is reported at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy.
Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs and Illinois Department of Public Health officials say a positive test for this fourth resident was confirmed Tuesday. The resident is reported in stable condition.

Representatives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) returned to the home in Quincy last week, at the request of IDPH, to provide additional support and guidance.
