A four vehicle crash on US 61 a mile north of Alexandria at 12:45 Thursday afternoon injures two of the drivers and one passenger.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says a car driven by 41-year-old Leann Baum of Keokuk was stopped and waiting for traffic to clear before making a left turn. Also stopped was an SUV driven by 43-year-old Charles Hayner of Keokuk. Troopers say a car driven by 81-year-old Wilbur Robison of Warsaw did not stop and struck the Hayner SUV from the rear. An oncoming truck driven by 45-year-old James Johnson of Keokuk sustained minor damage from debris.

Troopers say Robison sustained minor injuries. A passenger, 77-year-old Verla Robison, sustained serious injuries. She was life flighted to the University of Iowa Hospital. Haynes was taken to Keokuk Area Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
