QU Stadium is getting a facelift. Renovations begin immediately and include new stands, lights, synthetic playing surface and press box pressbox on the football side and a new synthetic infield for baseball.

Work is to be completed by the start of the 2015 football season. The new baseball infield is to be in place in time for the Quincy University Hawks baseball season.

Quincy University Hawk football will return to QU Stadium for the 2015 season. Quincy University also plans to add men's and women's lacrosse during the 2015-2016 academic year.

QU Stadium was built in the late 1930's as a Works Progress Administration project. It has been home to high school, college and professional baseball and high school and college football and college soccer.

PFIC-- a California based developer of collegiate facilities is handling the project. Other PFIC projects have been completed at the University of Connecticut, the University of Massachusetts, University of Houston and Bucknell.
