Four Florida residents face forgery charges in Marion County.

Palmyra Police Chief Eddie Bogue reports that last Saturday, a Palmyra resident reported that her purse was stolen out of her vehicle in St. Charles, Missouri. Then on Wednesday, the victim’s bank told police that someone other than the victim was trying to cash a forged check at the victim’s bank.

The suspects left the bank, but were taken into custody a short time later by Palmyra Police.

The Marion County Prosecutor Thursday filed forgery charges against 25 year old Jonathan Walker, 26 year old Jonathan Dixon, 43 year old Rebecca Miller and 39 year old Susana Colon, all from the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area.

Chief Bogue reports the four have been operating throughout Florida, New England and the Midwest.

Walker also has outstanding warrants for larceny, stealing, burglary and related charges.

The four are all lodged in the Marion County Jail.
