An investigation into a string of burglaries and vandalism in the Keokuk area results in the arrest of two Hancock County teens and two juveniles Thursday morning.

According to Hancock County Sheriff Scott Bentzinger, deputies responded to a report of individuals in a garage at a Warsaw residence.
As a result, 18 year olds Christian Skog and Zachary Thurman were taken into custody.

An investigation revealed that, between Monday and Thursday, Skog, Thurman and two juveniles allegedly took items from a vehicle in Hamilton, burglarized a business in Nauvoo twice, burglarized vehicles in Warsaw and Nauvoo and stole cash from the library in Warsaw.

The four are also alleged to have vandalized over a dozen vehicles in Keokuk Thursday.

Skog and Thurman are in the Hancock County Jail awaiting the official filing of charges.

The two juveniles were transferred to the Adams County Youth Detention Center.
