A former pastor and Quincy native has been sentenced after entering an Alford Plea on a variety of charges.

In Virginia Beach, Virginia Tuesday, 54 year old Todd Shane Tomko entered the plea to reduced charges of aggravated sexual battery, indecent liberties with a child and child abuse and neglect.

An Alford Plea means that, although Tomko does not admit guilt, he acknowledges that there is enough evidence to find him guilty.

Tomko was sentenced to 36 months in jail, with 18 months suspended for time already served.

Tomko is alleged to have verbally, physically and sexually abused three siblings in Virginia over a span of several years.

Tomko was also ordered to have no contact with the victims or their parents.

Tomko had been arrested in Quincy in connection with the charges last November.

Tomko is a retired Marine and former pastor of Parkview Church in Quincy.
