A former church treasurer enters a guilty plea to one count of wire fraud in federal court.
Former Antioch Baptist Church Treasurer Donald White entered the plea to one count of wire fraud Friday. Court records indicate White withdrew his former plea of not guilty and entered a plea of guilty to count one. White’s attorney says the other counts will be dropped. White had served as treasurer at Antioch Baptist Church from 1994 until 2016. A fire destroyed the church building in December 2016. White was arrested following an extensive investigation following the blaze. Sentencing is set for early April.
