Green Bay's new Special Teams Coach has ties to Culver Stockton College.

Shawn Mennenga will be the Packers new special teams coach as Matt LaFleur takes over. Mennenga came to Culver Stockton as defensive coordinator in 2001 under coach Chris Tabor. When Tabor left, Mennenga took over as head coach in 2002.  His Wildcat teams were a combined 10-21 through three seasons. Mennenga stepped down as head coach at the end of the 2004 season before moving on to Fort Hays State and later South Dakota State. Mannenga worked with Tabor again during Tabor's time as special teams coach with the Cleveland Browns beginning in 2011.

Two Culver Stockton Wildcats have played in the NFL. Offensive and defensive lineman Bob Hendren played for Culver Stockton in the late 1940's before playing with the Washington Redskins from 1949 until 1951. Defensive back Jason Kaiser was with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1998 and the Dallas Cowboys in 1999.
