A Canton woman pleads guilty to stealing while she was director of the Canton Public Library.

As part of a plea deal, Robin Cockrell pleaded guilty Tuesday to one misdemeanor count of stealing and was sentenced to two years probation and was ordered to pay the library more than $650 in restitution.

Cockrell is alleged to have forged checks and paid herself extra while she was the library’s director.
