LIBERTY, Ill. (AP) - A Quincy man is charged with attempted murder after authorities allege he shot two people at a motorcycle club.
Prosecutors in Adams County also officially charged 41-year-old Michael Gomez Monday with aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated battery.
Gomez is accused of shooting two men before dawn Saturday at the Midwest Percenters Clubhouse in Liberty.
Sheriff Brent Fischer tells the Herald-Whig that the victims were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive.
It isn't immediately clear what prompted the shooting.
