Forecasters Expect Seasonal Temperatures, Rain Late in the Week

With the fall of 2015 in full swing, temperatures are expected to be on a roller coaster this week, along with a chance of rain later in the week in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

National Weather Service forecasters say the week starts with clouds Monday, sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday, a good chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday and Friday, with more sun for the weekend.

High temperatures for the week are predicted to hit the low 70s Monday and Tuesday, the upper 70s to around 80 Wednesday and Thursday, down to the mid 60s Friday, and bouncing back to 70 Saturday and the upper 70s Sunday.

Lows for the week will be mostly in the mid 50s to around 60, dropping to the mid 40s Friday night.
