Five Quincy men were in Federal court in Springfield on separate, unrelated drug and weapon charges.

A federal grand jury returned the indictments last week. However, the charges had remained sealed pending the defendants’ arrests and court appearances.

59-year-old Gerald Knight is charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm related to a drug offense and possession of a firearm by a felon.

26-year-old Dantae Knighton faces charges including possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm by a felon.

18-year-old Conner McGlaughlin faces meth and firearm charges. The judge ordered Connor McGlauglin to be released from custody.

23-year-old Tyler McGlaughlin faces meth and firearm related charges.

18-year-old Caleb Roux faces marijuana distribution and firearm related charges.

Detention hearings are scheduled for Roux and Tyler McGlaughlin. Trial dates for all five are set for April 4.
