Firefighters Called to Quincy Factory

Firefighters were called to the West ADM plant at 2100 Gardner Expressway at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.

An official statement to the media from ADM indicates there was a small fire in an isolated section of the pellet mill. No injuries are reported and the fire was quickly contained. ADM officials say they are investigating the cause. Tri-Township and Quincy firefighters responded for the alarm.
