Fire Damages LaBelle Area Home

Fire Saturday afternoon heavily damages a house near LaBelle.
Firefighters were called to an address on Boxwood Street for a fire in a garage. Firefighter say the garage was fully involved when they arrived shortly after 4 p-m and that flames spread into the house. Western Lewis County firefighters were assisted by crews from Ewing...Canton and Knox City. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
