A Macon man is dead after he failed to yield to a freight train in Randolph County Friday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a trash truck driven by 36 year old Nathan Dunlap drove onto the tracks on County Road 2655 at 1:58 p-m. Troopers say Dunlap was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck was totaled. The locomotive sustained extensive damage.
