(COATSBURG)—A two vehicle crash on US 24 just west of Coatsburg late Tuesday afternoon claims the life of a Timewell woman.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by 63-year-old Connie Cook of Timewell spun out of control on the snow and into the path of a pickup driven by Stephen Schutte of Payson. Schutte was not injured. Cook died of her injuries Wednesday at Blessing Hospital.

(HANNIBAL)—A one vehicle crash on US 36 just east of Marion County Road 271 at 9:10 Wednesday morning results in minor injuries for a Champaign Illinois man. The Missouri Highway Patrol says an SUV driven by 47-year-old Eyad Al-Sweiti went out of control on the snow and ice covered road, through the median and through the eastbound lanes before overturning. Al-Sweiti was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

(CANTON)—A one car crash on US 61 a mile south of Canton at 6:30 Wednesday morning results in moderate injuries for a Canton woman. The Missouri Highway Patrol says 22-year-old Jacqueline Jett lost control on the icy road. Her car went into the median and overturned. Jett was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.
