FACT Offers Help With Missouri Health Insurance Marketplace

A northeast Missouri non-profit organization that specializes in offering help in a variety of areas has set its focus on the Affordable Care Act.

FACT (Families and Communities Together) has Certified Applicant Counselors on hand to help northeast Missourians is getting health insurance for themselves and their families, as now required by law.

The state of Missouri has a Health Insurance Marketplace website where people can go to compare prices and purchase coverage. FACT is offering help for those who either have never had health insurance or not computer literate.

The counselor's available locally through FACT will help individuals navigate through the new rules and regulations to avoid the penalties that come to those who don't have health care coverage.
