Ewing Man Under Federal Indictment for Child Pornography

A Ewing man has been indicted on federal charges of receipt and possession of child pornography.

27 year old Michael Prisner turned himself in to authorities earlier this week.

Acting on a tip from the St. Charles Cyber Crimes Task Force last June, officers with the Kirksville Regional Computer Crimes Unit, the Kirksville Police Department and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Prisner’s home in Ewing.

Several computers were seized which allegedly contained numerous images and videos of suspected child pornography.
