Ewing Man Sentenced on Federal Child Porn Charges

A Ewing man is sentenced in federal court on charges of possession of child pornography.

28 year old Michael Prisner of Ewing is sentenced to 42 months in prison. Prisner pleaded guilty to two felony counts of possession of child porn between April and June of 2015. The case was investigated by the FBI, the St. Charles County Internet Crimes Against Children, Kirksville Police, and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department. Prisner's arrest followed a tip from the St. Charles Cyber Crimes Task Force last June. Officers with the Kirksville Regional Computer Crimes Unit, the Kirksville Police Department and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Prisner’s home in Ewing.  Several computers were seized which allegedly contained numerous images and videos of suspected child pornography.
