Ewing Bank Employee Arrested

An investigation over more than two months results in the arrest of a bank employee from Ewing.
Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies say an investigation that started in August results in the arrest of 25 year old Danielle Oennning on one count of misapplication of funds of a financial institution and making false entries in records of a financial institution. Deputies investigated the internal theft of around $15,000 from United State Bank where Oenning was employed as a teller. She is not alleged to have taken any funds from customer accounts. Oenning was taken to the Lewis County Jail in lieu of 10-thousand dollars cash only bond.
