Brian Myles

At 11:33 a.m. representatives from Great River Aviation received a call from the Kansas City Flight Center notifying them that a medical life flight was being rerouted to Quincy Regional because of engine problems.

Personnel from Great River notified the 911 center and airport personnel that a pilot had declared an emergency and was approaching Quincy Regional with only one engine operable.  Emergency services were dispatched to Quincy Regional Airport at 11:34.  The Fire Department, Sherriff’s Department, Quincy Police and Adams County Ambulance all responded to the Airport.
The pilot of the King Air 200 landed the plane without incident.
