Hannibal Police say an attempt to deliver a message at a residence in the 1200 block of Ely Wednesday results in an arrest on marijuana charges.

Police say that as they made contact with the residents, a strong odor believed to be from marijuana was detected coming from inside the house. Officers received consent to search the house and they report finding several baggies of marijuana packaged for sale along with drug paraphernalia.

24-year-old Amy Andrews was arrested for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and placed on a 24 hour hold. A warrant was issued Thursday for two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
