A Hannibal man pleads guilty and is sentenced on meth related charges in Marion County Circuit Court Tuesday.

28 year old Charles Elliott pled guilty to attempted manufacture of methamphetamine and leaving the scene of an accident in Marion County, and for resisting arrest in Ralls County.

Elliott will serve a total of 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on the charges.

Elliott is alleged to have fled Ralls County authorities, winding up on Warren Barrett Drive in Hannibal, where he lost control of his car and struck a white van.

Authorities report Elliott had an active meth lab and drug paraphernalia in his car.

A second man arrested with Elliott, 34 year old Robert Bailey of Palmyra, pleaded guilty in March to possession, delivery, distribution and production of a controlled substance.
