Edina Teen Dies of Gunshot Wound

(EDINA)—An Edina teen is dead following an apparent accidental shooting. 15-year-old Logan Allen died Wednesday morning at University Hospital. Allen was life flighted to Columbia Tuesday afternoon following the shooting.

Authorities say Allen and another boy were at a residence on West Jackson in Edina when Allen was accidentally shot in the back of the head. Edina Police and the Missouri Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control are investigating.

The Hudson Rimer Funeral Home in Edina is in charge of funeral arrangements.
