Early Morning Armed Robbery in Hannibal

Hannibal Police say two people are in custody following an early morning armed robbery report.
Police were called to the 1100 block of Broadway at 3:02 this (WED) morning. The female victim says the suspect followed her and displayed a handgun… took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. Police say the suspects were described as a black male wearing a blue coat and jeans and a black female wearing a red coat and jeans. They were last seen walking west on Broadway. Officers located two individuals matching the description nearby and a 58 year old male and a 55 year old female were detained. Both were taken to the Marion County Jail pending formal filing of charges. A firearm and an undisclosed amount of cash were located and seized.
