Quincy’s long-awaited Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins finally has its opening date.

The combination restaurant located at 2600 Broadway will open for business on Wednesday, November 2 at 5:00 am. The restaurant is managed by Yonas Hagos who, in a June interview with the Quincy Herald-Whig cited that he was excited to come to Quincy and had been looking forward to the opportunity for two years.

The double franchise occupies two storefronts in the new building owned and operated by Derek Zahm of State Farm Insurance.

According to dunkindonuts.com, there are more than 11,300 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants worldwide including 8,000 in the United States alone. Per their own site, Baskin-Robbins is the world’s largest chain of ice cream speciality shops with nearly 7,300 locations in 50 countries. Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin’ Donuts are part of the Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc.
