DUI Arrest Follows Crash at 16th & State in Quincy

A Quincy man faces DUI charges following a collision at 16th and State in Quincy at 10:56 Thursday evening.

Quincy Police say an SUV driven by 46-year-old Robert Walters of Quincy ran a stop sign and hit a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Quincy woman. Police say Walters fled the scene on foot and was apprehended a short time later.

Walters is also charged with driving while revoked, disobeying a stop sign and leaving the scene of an accident. Walters was taken to the Adams County Jail.
