UPDATE: An arrest warrant has been issued for LeQuinton T. Gibbs. Gibbs has been charged with a Class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute or deliver or sell. Punishment upon conviction holds a minimum five years and maximum 15 year prison sentence. Bond is set at $100,000 cash.

ORIGINAL STORY: Two Hannibal man were taken into custody Thursday morning after a search at the Best Way Inn (612 Mark Twain Ave.) revealed what officers believe to be heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and prescription medications as well as several packaging items and a large amount of cash.

LeQuinton T. Gibbs, 35, was arrested for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and Michael J. Rimi, 25 of Hannibal, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Gibbs was transported to the Marion County Jail and Rimi was released. Charges are pending.
