The driver of the Lewis County C-1 school bus that crashed in April has been issued a traffic citation in connection with the crash.

62-year-old John Logan is charged with misdemeanor improper lane usage. Highway Patrol investigators say Logan was distracted by a student who had gotten sick. The school bus Logan was driving ran off the road, slid down an embankment and overturned.

30 students were injured in the crash, 26 of which were treated locally.
Logan was not disciplined by the school district for the crash.
