Downtown Hannibal–Still Open For Business [Audio]

(HANNIBAL)—Work is underway on street and sidewalks in Hannibal’s downtown area and the flood gates are still in due to high water on the Mississippi. Gail Bryant of the Hannibal Convention and Visitors Bureau says that shouldn’t discourage customers.

Bryant says the shops are open and looking forward to upcoming events in the downtown area including the Loafers Car Show, the Jaycee’s Epic Music Show, the Gallery walk, a pub crawl and a summer concert series at the Y Men’s Club.

The Mark Twain Riverboat is in full operation.
