The Marion County Prosecutor announces the official filing of charges against two Hannibal residents arrested earlier this week.

David Clayton reports that 37 year old Charles Donley was charged Friday with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, deliver or distribute.

Clayton describes Donley as a persistent offender with prior convictions for robbery, stealing and tampering with a vehicle.

Donley is alleged to have had nearly 30 grams of methamphetamine in his possession when he was stopped by police early Wednesday morning.

A co-defendant in the case, LaDawn Mack, has been charged with felony possession of heroin.

Donley is in the Marion County Jail on $50,000 cash only bond.
Both Donley and Mack are scheduled for a status hearing on January 26th.
